"The property was nothing outstanding. It was adequate and clean. Parking was convenient as it's a small lot. What made it alright was it's location on moonstone beach. It's an older motel property that was upgraded and rooms remodeled, and I think $700+ for two nights was overpriced. They did serve a continental breakfast that was ok, if you wanted something light. "This hotel is on a large property with a spacious courtyard. Our room had a small balcony which we enjoyed. Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals (and Otters!), the light house, and Moonstone beach are all short drives away. Parking is easy. We had an issue with the first room we were given, but the front desk quickly assigned us to another room. They ask to let them know if you are arriving late. "Staff/owners were extremely friendly, they couldnt be more helpful with recommendations, free cookies on arrival and the two little cars. They also gave free tea and coffee in the mornings as well as pastries and other breakfast goodies. The room was clean and spacious. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. "Beautiful location. 5 minute easy walk on boardwalk path to the beach. 10 minutes to Hearst Castle. Great shops and food options in Cambria. Linn’s shop’s & restaurant is a MUST! Room was nice and the bed so comfortable! It would be nice to have a folding luggage stand as the “closet” is small. "
