"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check out beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs for free. The view from the room overlooking the beach and palm trees was super. The location was centrally located for going either direction on the island. The problem was that homeless were prevalent around the area. Most the best food in the area was from food trucks, which was fine most of the time. They definitely need a new bed. I felt like I was sleeping on the side of the hill...

"The location is definitely the highlight for this resort. Perfectly situated in front of the beach, with a view of the ocean from basically anywhere in the resort. The beach itself is not for swimming as it’s short and rocky, but there are plenty of good options at walking distance. The resort itself is OK, adequate for the price but not exceptional. It was also nice to have the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant on the property. However, we were extremely disappointed in the room as we paid for an Ocean View and had no view from the room. "There is no AC in the units. If you have any issues do not expect a return call. These are older units and we had many items that did not operate in the room — the fan (essential) and the tub (essential). Property is nice and view is amazing on the Cliff"
