Our window leaked when it rained and the doorknob to the bathroom came off when pulled. Breakfast was decent, but food service for dinner was limited and not as good. Very friendly staff."

"Lovely hotel in downtown Des Moines. I stayed for the Des Moines half marathon, and the hotel was a block from the finish line. An added benefit was the Saturday farmer's market a block from the hotel!"

"Parking lot was closed so had long walk from our vehicle to the lobby. Old When we checked out it had been storming. Same distance to the vehicle. Not informed about the closed lot. Room was not cleaned for uor 2nd day. A towel used for makeup removal was placed Back for reuse. Local employees said since we used Expedia to reserve rooms they could resolve any complaints."
