"Stayed here over the bank holiday as a family of 4. The hotel itself is nice and the outside space is green and relaxing. However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep. "We spent a single night at The Black Horse, following a memorial for a friend at the same venue. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food at the memorial, as well as our evening meal. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. I would recommend The Black Horse to anyone visiting Climping or the surrounding area."

The listing mentions that the venue will be playing loud music, but I would’ve expected a bit more effort in soundproofing the rooms. Good continental breakfast included, which I hadn't realised.
