"Room was kinda cool, and it was clean. Felt like a house flipper recently touched it. But there was no desk, table to eat at, or a dresser. The heavy curtains were installed on an extendable rod with curtain clips that came undone when I tried to open them (and I was careful). The view was roof level anyway. All this along with shared kureg with no tea pods, shared brita ina shared fridge, with no reverse osmosis filter installation in the shared sink (on my floor at least) made it feel like...

"I stayed here a couple of days ago. On my first evening, realized that I didn’t pack my toothbrush. I called the guest services around 10p and the person who picked up said they don’t keep any toothbrush. For a 200-300 dollar per night hotel was a little shocking. Next morning I went to the front desk and asked again and they said they had one. Either the person overnight didn’t know or was too lazy to open the drawer and give me one. In either case quite disappointing. "

"Disheartening experience. I rarely leave reviews, good or bad. If I take the time to write one, it means the experience was either exceptional or extremely disappointing. "This hotel earns 2 stars solely because the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was courteous. Everything else about this stay was unacceptable. Both house phones in the room were broken. Two “clean” towels had visible hair on them. The property is outdated and poorly maintained. What truly pushed this stay into unacceptable territory was housekeeping’s handling of a basic request. "I stay at the Hotel Indigo in Five Points often and it's always a pleasant experience. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the area has a lot to offer. The only negative from this trip was that none of the ice makers on any of the floors were working, so I had to get ice from the bar. After jumping multiple floors (the elevator automatically returns to the lobby once you exit), what should've been a quick errand turned into 15 minutes just to get ice. It didn't deter my trip...
