"This was ideally situated for our brief visit to Penn State. The breakfast is a basic continental deal, but we enjoyed waffles with peanut butter and some tea to fuel us! The breakfast room as CUTE with nice large windows, and we were cozy and happy there for the night."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. Pam was very nice and helpful in checking us in upon arrival. We were able to check-in early via the site which made check-in easy and stress-free. We even took advantage of the bowling alley right next door and the free shoe rental deal. We occasionally could hear the bowling activity next to us but it wasn't too distracting. Something to think about if traveling with small kids as the bowling alley closes around 11 pm so it may not be ideal. However, ...

"We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?"

"This is one of those limited staff hotels. The kind where there is no one at the front desk. You can call or text someone. But the lobby is empty. There is no one to help with luggage. There is no elevator. I walked my own luggage up 3 flights. At checkin there was someone who showed us to the room. I suppose I could have asked her to grab my luggage but at that point it seemed easier to deal with it myself. After that I never saw them again. There is no parking. It's even difficult to stop...

"Was able to check in early at 1 pm after calling them in the morning to see if able. Staff friendly and professional. Room was clean had nice cold fridg and clean microwave. Great value!"
