"We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!"

"Just had a three Night stay at the Thames Head Inn and really cant fault it. All of the staff were cheerful and friendly from book in, bar, chef and waitresses. Our room was very cosy and ultra clean, and the the biscuits and tea and coffee facilities were very much appreciated. We visited Tetbury, Cirencester and Bath. All were very nice. The food is good also. We know from experience how disappointing and hit and miss accommodation can be but not The Thames Head. I would fully recommend it "

"The room was very clean and confortable. The staff were all very friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. The only negative was that breakfast was served on very hot plates and my poached egg had a gel like consistency - very unusual."

"Breakfast was very good but not excellent. Ive had better. The room toilet seat seam stained with something so was wary about sitting on it! But other than that the room was very nice but the pillows were so stiff! Regarding the staff, there were amazing especially the front desk girls i think their names were Kim and Veronica."
