The alcohol was horrible you couldn’t even drink any of it. We had to go out buy the alcohol at supermarket to be able to drink it. The bartenders were nice but not enough of them to be efficient for the amount of people at the resort. The system of how to make reservations for the restaurants was only on certain time and you had to get up super early to form the line. The quality of the food in restaurants were just ok editable. The food at the buffet was good choices and decent quality. The towels for the pool one was allowed to get at one location only and only for certain about time and if you lost it $15.00 to replace the towel. The resort didn’t have enough beach chairs or umbrellas for shade at the pool or beach. The pool area didn’t have swim up bar which was ok if only they had waiters by the pool to get your drinks or enough bartenders to not form such huge line just to get water or horrible drink you couldn’t even drink. Overall the place was located by the beach with beautiful view. My room was very musty and needed upgrades. The air conditioning was on and off throughout the nights. I did have a roach in my room one night.. overall experience I would not recommend or return to this resort unless the turn over to new management was to up keep the resort. The staff were friendly and polite.

Poor treatment by the staff. Air conditioning and electricity weren’t working in the room, the bartender was terrible and my family and I were ignored by them many times. This is the first time I have an experience like that

The staff was amazing! The receptionists, cleaning crew, restaurant workers, etc., were all kind and helpful. Also, the location, right near the ocean, was awesome. If you enjoy being right next to the ocean, this is the place. Lastly, for being all-inclusive, I thought the food was pretty decent, not great, but decent. On the other hand, my room was definitely dated. The shower barely had any water pressure, and the mattress was very uncomfortable when sleeping on my back or side. My preferred positions. For reference, I am 6’1 and 180 lbs. Lastly, visitors are not allowed to see you at this hotel. Knowing the area a little, I believe that this a good rule. However, keep that in mind if you wish to see family or friends in the area.

absolutely lovely breakfasts each day during my stay. The only issue was with getting extra room towels and having my room cleaned. It was done, just a day later. Staff was lovely and helpful when the language barrier was not so prevalent. Overall, I would return again, not too big of a resort that you get lost, yet still seems spread out~

I booked a stay at Casa Marina Sosua expecting a relaxing vacation, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, there were serious issues. When we entered the room, there were what appeared to be blood stains in the bathroom and near the hallway entrance. On top of that, the shower was in poor condition—the shower head was loose and fell while I was using it. The food situation was equally bad. We tried both the reservation-based restaurants and the buffet, and the quality was extremely poor. The meat, in particular, tasted heavily processed—similar to canned hot dogs—and overall, the food felt unappetizing and poorly prepared. Even the drinks were disappointing—they tasted like watered-down concentrated juice, with excessive dilution that made them flavorless. Customer service was also lacking. Most staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. The only positive interactions we had were with the receptionist and a supervisor who genuinely tried to assist us. The one highlight of the property is the view—it’s absolutely beautiful, and we truly wanted to enjoy our stay. However, the overall conditions and service made that impossible. Fortunately, we contacted Expedia, and they were able to relocate us to another resort. Overall, I would not recommend staying here based on our experience.

The staff wast too friendly! No hot water at the sink . When I called to fix the issue , they told me to be patient and never came and fixed the issue for the duration of my stay. Not a great place to stay for me at all !

It’s worth cost we paid. Friendly staff, low key, the property is situated in the town. It was easy to go out and walk around …no hassle. Lots of positives. Negatives.. it’s probably better bringing your own towels for the pool, making reservations can be a hassle, depends on who you talk to at the front you receive little information on what activities and stuff is offered. The owness is left to visitor to find out. Food is okay. Jacuzzi was advertised as amenities but this is not so.

Great room and view of the ocean. Went to 9:30 -10 in the morning and they had no pool towels available. I would think they should own enough towels to equal the properties occupancy. Went to guft shop and purchased 2 beach towels. Its the small details that matter. Disappointing.

Mi experiencia en Casa Marina en Sosúa fue extremadamente decepcionante y muy lejos de lo que uno espera de un resort. Desde el momento de la llegada comenzaron los problemas. El proceso de check-in fue lento y desorganizado, y el personal no parecía interesado en ayudar ni en resolver dudas. La habitación que nos asignaron estaba en malas condiciones: limpieza deficiente, olor desagradable y muebles visiblemente desgastados y cucarachas caminando. El baño era otro problema. No parecía haber sido limpiado correctamente y las toallas no se veían frescas. Para un lugar que se promociona como resort, la falta de mantenimiento fue muy evidente La comida del buffet fue una de las mayores decepciones. Poca variedad, comida fría y opciones que parecían repetirse todos los días. Además, en varias ocasiones el área del buffet estaba desordenada y con mesas sin limpiar. Otro punto negativo fue el servicio al cliente. Cuando intentamos reportar algunos de estos problemas, la respuesta del personal fue indiferente y poco profesional. En lugar de buscar soluciones, parecía que simplemente querían evitar el problema. Las instalaciones del resort tienen potencial por su ubicación frente al mar, pero el descuido general, la mala atención y la falta de calidad en los servicios arruinaron completamente la experiencia. En resumen, esta estadía fue una gran decepción y definitivamente no regresaría ni recomendaría este resort a otras personas.
