"The hotel was very nice, however we had a toilet that would not flush, they sent maintenance the next day and tried to tell us a fix to make it work as they needed to call a plumber to truly fix it. However the fix did not work, they finally moved us to another room the third day, it was a pain to repack to move down a floor. Other than that, it was nice and so was the staff. Breakfast was nice."

"A beautiful top-notch property in York. Centrally located a 4 minute walk from the train station and 8/9 minute walk to York Minster and old town York. Plenty of stores and eating facilities all within walking distance.
The hotel itself and attentive staff plus very spacious and well appointed rooms made our stay a real pleasure. Definitely a 5 star plus!!"
