"We loved staying at The Lodge. The staff was extremely helpful, immediately giving us tips for getting around (take the bus to the subway or take the ferry). They have great suggestions for places to eat and things to do nearby. Our room was cleaned daily, and they always replaced everything that had been used. "It was extremely noisy. Each time someone leaves their room you could hear the door slam and you can hear every single conversation as well. The rooms were big especially for NY. They have robes advertised, but stated there's none, because guest kept stealing them. If that's the case, it shouldn't be advertised. I would probably stay again if i can get a quieter room."

"The location was exactly what we wanted for our purpose, but the room smelled like cigarettes, and it was next to the stairs which had a door that closed really loudly. There were hairs left in the bathroom which were small and curly and not what you want to see when you’re staying somewhere. The staff was really nice from behind the bullet proof glass in the lobby. "The staff at this hotel were amazing. Staff helped us with whatever was needed. The hotel is well cared for & inviting. The staff at the marketplace were not very accommodating & prices were super high for what was purchased. The room was great & the housekeeping staff provided many things we needed. However, after two of the 4 night stay, we didn’t receive a room cleaning or weren’t asked about it. Weird. The location is exceptional & made traveling the city very convenient. "

The cleaning staff was great and friendly and everyone there seemed to enjoy their jobs which makes for a great environment! Will definitely stay again, the only downside is parking which is out of their control. I highly recommend staying and getting a room with a view! "
