"The room I was given was nothing like the photos. Bare walls with cracks and picture hooks. Stains on the walls in the bathroom. The sink was rocking around loose. All the furniture was aged and damaged. The lighting was commercial tube lighting like an office or a clinic. Dusty fan and window cover. Just an absolute disappointment."

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Hibernation Station. The location was perfect for our day trips. It is not luxurious but served us well. The owners were friendly and helpful. The lady cleaning rooms was very nice too. We could get extra supplies on our own or ask her or owners. I liked the locks on the doors. They could use some new mattresses and towels. "The location of this hotel was amazing! Our morning walks on the beach were one of the highlights of our stay. The grounds and landscaping were beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. "They gave me a different room than the one I reserved and charged me extra money. When I asked about the extra price, they first said the room type I reserved was no longer available. Then they blamed it on Expedia listing error. Then they changed the excuse yet again and told me the extra price is the cleaning fee. After all that, I found no toilet paper in the room and had to request it."
