"Room was fantastic. Great view from the beautiful balcony. Fantastic location, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Room was very clean, great amenities. Bathroom with walk in shower looked like it was newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly made omelets. "Having travelled around India for 5 weeks it was refreshing to find a hotel where we weren’t pestering for reviews every 5 minutes! Maybe that’s because they don’t need to as they already know that their staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, nice food and pool. And all this just a short stroll to all the amenities of North Cliff. We were there when the monsoon started and as we had a late flight they allowed us to use our room until late...

"Hotel is located on the main cliff top by the heli pad. Very conviently to walk straight along to the numerous bats and resturants along the cliff front as well as get to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and working AC, fan and a min fridge. Wifi reception was good and overall a pleasant stay at this hotel."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The bungalows are pleasant and very spacious, the setting of them with lawns between them and broad verandahs as well as proximity to the busy tourist cliff road and the beach make this an excellent place to stay."

"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."
