"Our stay was good. The only negative was they were resurfacing a portion of their parking lot, with more than half blocked off, which made parking a problem. The breakfast was only okay, could have had better choices."

"The hotel overall was rushed when building was in progress. The contractors did not pay attention to the simple things. The A/C unit in our room was leaking and wet the floor significantly. The bathroom door would not close due to the door being extremely tilted . Different beds in different rooms. The first room had a good bed, then we switched rooms due to the issues I just listed. And the second bed was horrible. You could feel the springs popping up and down. Overall it felt extremely cheap....

"Great place. Super nice staff was very helpful and the room had a big jetted tub. I liked the little street with access to the beach and a close walk to Santa BuenaVentura state park. Will return. It’s especially a great spot if you run the MTB marathon or Ventura marathons."

"Really nice motel. It was well appointed, the bathroom was very nice with a walkin shower, the bed was comfortable, and the property was quiet. Staff are super nice. Would highly recommend this place. Down the street from a few good food spots and a comfortable walk to the beach."

"Waypoint Ventura is a treat, to say the least. All the vintage trailers are beautifully appointed and restored. Plus, the whole vibe in the place is just fantastic. Easy walkability to great restaurants and breweries. Looking forward to my next stay and trying a different travel trailer next time."

"Can't say enough good things about this special hotel. The lobby, courtyard and our room were all interesting and beautiful. The staff was kind and attentive. The location is perfect for walking to the many fun thrift stores, amazing restaurants and coffee shops and fun evening vibes of live music on the streets of Ventura."

"Pros We stayed in the room for 2 nights and came away with a great impression! The room and bathroom both had a fresh, recently renovated feel. On our second day, housekeeping even came by to make up the bed and refresh the towels. Fairly spacious, with a fridge and microwave included. Cons At one point we took the last spot in the parking lot, and another car arrived after us — not sure where they ended up parking... The soundproofing leaves something to be desired."

"Breakfast was ok. My room was ok but the phone in my daughter’s room didn’t work. She also had problems with the shower switch. She eventually got it to work but the water pressure was very light. She also had a large bug run across her bed and was able to catch it."

"Our room was spacious and clean. The only minor complaint is the uncomfortable couch. It was incredibly hard and not comfortable for sitting. In addition, we did not get our trash taken out while we were staying for multiple days. A positive aspect of the property is their well maintained pool. It was crystal clear in the perfect temperature. We will be staying here again when visiting our son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids."
