Maldron Hotel Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"Staff friendly, clean rooms, nothing too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast with a good choice of Gluten Free products. Very good central position for sightseeing."
Clifton Guest House
8/10 Good
"Great location, with loads of parking in the area and really close to the station (handy to get to Newcastle) and the seaside. The staff was helpful when we had an issue with the check in, and was always responsive to our requests. The room was alright, even though the bed wasn't exactly comfy, and the timed fan in the bathroom wasn't ideal at night. The best thing overall was the cafe, in which we went for all the three days. Hats off! The staff was amazing, and they could accommodate our gluten intolerance needs. Also, I am still thinking about that toffee cake."
