"We stayed in the Sandpiper Lodge behind Lake Yellowstone hotel, which is an older hotel. Rooms were large and clean, the bed comfortable. We enjoyed access to the hotel, including the lounge with evening music. The staff was very helpful and tried their best. Unfortunately, they were seriously understaffed, which resulted in errors in cleaning; moreover, the restaurant was struggling with supply issues (they ran out of so many items at dinner and breakfast over our 4 day stay...) and seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests. One consideration, which can be a plus or a minus - there is no Wifi and phone reception is weak."

"Great motel, a little older but very clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Laundry facilities on site and a bar-restaurant make this motel very accommodating. We stayed 8 nights here and were very happy with our rooms."

"We arrived on a Friday to stay the night. after checking the client list, it was determined that when i booked the reservation the system booked it for Saturday night. they were fully booked for the Friday night. Shane, i believe was his name, and staff may a phone call for us and got us a reservation at a near by hotel that had 1 room available. they went out of their way to help us. i just wish we could have stayed there as i am sure their hospitality would have been fantastic. it was a disastrous situation turning into a great experience all because of the staff at Grizzly's Lodge. thank you Grizzly's Gene and Shirley"
