Everything is solid and sturdy, the lightings are many, floor size mirror, electricity sockets well positioned right where you need them, the shower works really well. Very helpful staff! Hamburg is a super engineered city with everything well programmed running smoothly and quietly. Not the Paris type of cultural bomb but very historic solid and logical city with innovations in the details everywhere. ...

"Fantastic apartment hotel, great location right by an S-Bahn station, literally a couple of stops to the airport, and a short ride into the heart of the city. Apartment was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a kitchenette with a hob (stove top) and microwave. Very sizeable apartment, clean and quiet, barely bumped into any other guests outside of the communal social area on the first floor - will definitely be staying here again the next time that I find myself...

"I had a lot of luggage, and the front desk staff, without hesitation, helped me get it all up to my room. The staff was also sweet and helpful when ordering my taxi in the morning and answering all my questions. The room was lovely and clean too. I would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed at the Engel for the Simple Minds concert at the Barclays Arena Hamburg (great concert!). The hotel and staff are great and a quite nights sleep. The Papilon resturant attached to the Hotel is also great! Pubic transport (Bus) into Hamburg City centre is a 10 metre walk and a Taxi around 18 Euro."

"The room was of a good size and the bathroom was fully renovated. Shower and toilet area, maybe a bit small for oversize guests. Very clean and nice bedding. Everything was working, including the internet. Quiet area and the windows can be opened. No F&B opportunities. Coffee machine in the room is very good, justifies the 1 Euro per pod. Beverages in the mini bar are all 3 Euros, a fair price for a mini bar. "
