"The hotel is awesome.Yes, the rooms are basically closets with a mattress and two feet of ground to stand on. I splurged and got the double bed room and do that, I can't imagine squeezing into the single. But the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, there was ZERO light in the room with the lights off, so if you like dark rooms, you'll love this. It's a deep cave. But there was a light switch on the wall right next to your pillow so easy to light things up. Built in speakers for bluetooth. The people who work there keep the place perfect. It's all rather new and everything is clean and well designed. There is a cafe and bar downstairs which is decent and a rooftop lounge area where you can smoke, drink or just hang out with plenty of good furniture. I spent two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The neighborhood is kinda cruddy, with people sleeping on the sidewalk, but it didn't feel dangerous and a short walk to a great, lively street and plenty of sidewalk cafes. it's just a few blocks to the train station. If I'm travelling alone, I'd certainly stay there again. It had a good energy and was very clean. Two people in the tiny pod would get tough, but for solo travel, do it. "

"Property is managed by Arbio, with no reception, but all information for check-in is sent via email, and we had no problems - their step-by-step check-in procedure was very concise. The property is in a great location for discovering Hamburg - right next to the train line, but with no noise from the trains. There is a supermarket right downstairs, and 2 more within 10 minutes walking. There are also many dining options nearby, but we utilised the excellent kitchen in the apartment. The 3 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, and were very happy with our stay. The apartment was modern, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was the best in our 6 week holiday. We had a small communication glitch, where our email did not receive a reply, but overall we would not hesitate to recommend this property to all."

"We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel and were very impressed with its cleanliness and general condition. The King size room with a lake view was ideal for our stay. Sufficient space and amenities within the room. The hotels great location is very convenient for exploring Hamburg within walking distance to the central station and also close to bus and MRT stops. The nearby lake is great for walking or cycling around. We didn't eat within the hotel as there are many good options nearby and also a well stocked supermarket"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to the places we wanted to visit. Very easy to get to with a little bit of walking to the local train station. We wanted a kitchen and got a lovely one that was well outfitted for our needs. The layout of the little efficiency apartment was ideal in that the main room was split into by a room divider with a television that could swivel from one side to the other and that made it feel like two rooms – a bit more privacy than would otherwise be the case. We never met any staff because everything was automated and we were received a code for getting into the building and into our rooms the day before our arrival. It was very much our little home away from home. "
