"The foyer was cool, the staff welcoming. The lifts were quick and the rooms nicely presented and clean.
The fitness staff were a bit slow and disinterested. The pool and sauna were good. The showers were in need of a good scrub in the changing room.
The cafe was a bit chaotic as the tills were down. The service was very slow and you had to choose a table before you ordered but there was no info to say this. The girl at the bar was pleasant.
The restaurant was overpriced and the food mediocre...

"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Check in staff were really friendly and efficient. Great breakfast and lovely bar area too. Our room was lovely, overlooking the river. It was warm and with no air con the room was a little hot, but they had a fan and we asked for the window restrictor to be removed which helped a lot!
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk in to the centre of Chester.
Great stay and would stay again 😊"
