"It's a great place to go to relax, you have the cove about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The staff are great very helpful, the breakfast is great and the evening meals are great too, the room was clean the one I stayed in, the bar is good too the beer is local as well just up the road to we're the mill is."

"From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome to Port Gaverne. Our room was very comfortable with great facilities The bar was a lovely place to wind away a few hours, with a great variety of drinks on offer. The breakfast menu was full of great choices to start the day’s adventures around Cornwall and the restaurant had lots of great food to choose from, especially the Sunday roast. "Great location with spectacular views. Short walk to beach. Food adequate. EV charging is a bit of a lottery. Cars parked by the chargers but not plugged in and obviously staff struggled to find the offenders so that the chargers could actually be used. Great for families and dogs!"

Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. "Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. "I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

"A really tranquil and well thought out hotel. Great little touches like including an anniversary card in the room for us, and extra amenities in the spa.
