"This is the rare 5-star B&B that actually earns its rating. The house is a beautiful, art filled home where attention is paid to every detail. The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. "Solo trip post hiking the Seven Sister's Cliffs. A beautiful and calm place to go to after a challenging hike. My room had a gorgeous view of the English Channel and the entire room and bathroom felt like you were staying in a top spa accommodation. Breakfast was of an array of nice choices. I will come again with my family!"

"From the moment we walked in the door we were amazed at how lovely this hotel was. We were greeted by our hosts who were so friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. We had one of the two attic rooms. The room was immaculate, well decorated and so clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom again was really clean and fresh and my husband who rates rooms by their showers was really happy. There was tea and coffee as would be expected but biscuits and a very scrummy chocolate...

"The hotel is in a great location in Hastings Old Town close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, v. comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, including Porters next door (good wine bar/restaurant associated with the hotel). It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived. Breakfast is also really good with full, vegetarian, and non vegan options. Can’t fault our stay at all,...

"We visited as a couple for a short getaway and found exactly the breath of fresh air we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, the owner was warm and attentive, and breakfast was beautifully prepared with every detail considered by the owner, Sally. A special thanks to the chef for the delicious omelette. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet couple’s break."

"Just a shame they didn’t offer cereals or yoghurts etc at breakfast for those who don’t like a cooked breakfast. I just ended up with toast which seemed a bit poor for the price of the room. "

"I almost dont want to wrkte a review as it will get booked , but this little.gem was fabulous. Great.hosts lovely evening menu the chilli was amazing. The continental breakfast is cute and coffee is large and strong and hot.
