"Had a wonderful couple of nights at 8 Owls in Glastonbury. Lilija was super responsive and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location next to the High Street and all the shops was great for us. Loved all of the Owls and other details around the property and the terrace at the top was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again."

"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"

"The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!"

"Lovely location with Wooky Holes on the doorstep of the Hotel. Room was basic but clean and had everything you'd want fir an overnight stay. Lovely grounds for a walk. Only negative was bath taps had hot water, but the shower had only had cold water. The mixer thermostat was obviously faulty. Talking to other guests, this seemed to be a common fault as others said their shower only had cold water too."

"Would have been nice to have our room cleaned , but maybe they do not work Sundays ? No room clean, towel change or bed made, not the end of the world, but at these prices 100% expected, doors all slam in the property asthere are no door weights to hold any doors, the web site made it look like you had your own hot tub, you do not at all, its shared with all other guests! No food on site after 4pm was a big let down, althouygh saying that breakfast was very good, and really the only thing that...

"I was pleasantly surprised with my room after reading the reviews. I had one of the outside family rooms and it was big and comfortable. It served my purpose for what I needed perfectly. If you're fussy there are a few imperfections but it is good value for the price."
