"Really nice place with a very responsive host"

"I really liked this hotel, it was our second visit but, they completely messed up our dinner. We pre ordered the roast pork but, unfortunately they ran out! We ended up with ham, egg and chips which was laughable, the ham looked like thinly sliced spam, the egg was overcooked and we had a few oven chips! It was so bad we got up and walked out, which i have never done before and I’m 67! I have emailed the hotel but, no reply! We won’t be going back!"

"A gem of a place. Room was 100% and the breakfast kept me going all day. Location is 150 metres away from the main street. I now know where I am stopping next time I am in Paignton. Very highly recommended."

"Amazing hotel, lovely grounds, plenty of parking, lovely staff - all very helpful and clearly enjoy working there, nice relaxing bar with a friendly bartender, nice spacious and cool bedrooms, food was amazing, evening entertainment was decent, nice breakfast with a really good selection, only had a 2 night stay but will definitely be returning."

"Lovely little B&B . Not the biggest of rooms, and not the most modern, but spotlessly clean and comfortable . Owners are so friendly and immediately make you feel welcome . Lovely breakfast , with plenty of choice ....and to top it off, two sociable cats add a real homely feel. Will definitely be back !!"

"Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "Wonderful one night stay. Huge beautiful room, air conditioning was a bonus in this heat. Loved using the spa facilities and outdoor pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast."
