"Lanson Place in Melbourne is an extremely nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. The hotel lobby/lounge is beautifully designed, the rooms are also very well appointed with beautiful views and the gym is especially nice!"

"Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne."

"Booked two rooms during our four nights stay in Melbourne. We were told our booking for the two rooms weren't recorded as one booking, which was weird because we booked under one booking reference. Not sure if thats a mixup from hotels.com or park hyatt. Regardless, we ended up not staying at the same floor, which is not such a big deal. Our room was spacious but the purpose of the design seem very confusing. There are two access to the bathroom, one of which shines through the bedroom if we...

"Very well design and good location in CBD, so close to China town!"

"Location of the hotel was great, easy to get around. The only problem was, the hotel is next to a railway, and you could hear some train noise. The noise was there but not that bad, I could still sleep. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious.. living room is kind of small. Cleaness could be better, we found stain on one of the bed’s linen. Other than that, it was clean."

"We stayed in the hotel for business. The hotel is down a small alley so I would imagine views from all rooms are quite limited, as was the case for me. The rooms are well designed for what is quite a small space, but everything is nice and clean. The beds are comfortable too. The hotel location is in a very convenient central position in Melbourne so you can get anywhere easily."
