"As you can see, not pleased with the Ashford in. Confusion on my booking I thought I was booking September 9, 2026 apparently not it defaulted to the day I was booking it May 9, 2026, and got billed for a night stay while I was still in California and was a no-show at Ashford in England.Politely contacted them told him I needed to change my date of arrival to the correct date and they said too bad so sad and we’re not forthcoming in trying to fix the mistake or work with me to let me book another night. Was looking forward to staying there, but now I will find a different place to stay if the management is such that they are not flexible caring or compassionate enough to deal with mistakes."

"Parking and layout of venue good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Menu was divine for dinner, lounge and breakfast - gorgeous food and locally sourced. Outdoor games available - croquet, petanque. Bed very comfortable."

"Hotel was clean and in good condition. Rooms were good and bed sizes were good too - 2 singles were higher than expected. Toiletries were lovely. Would’ve liked to be able to order room service but it isn’t an option for dinner or breakfast. Basic breakfast included was ok. Overall, would stay again."

"Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5."
