"Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the room was spotless and comfortable. I liked the breakfasts, especially the egg and cheese omelets. You also have ready access to picturesque areas of MA such as Sharon. Highly recommend this place."

"The rooms are clean enough, clearly well-maintained and some are new. Beds were clean and fresh, as was bedding. The problem here wasn't labor or care. The bedding and bed were both poor quality. When other reviews say the walls were thin, listen. You could hear the televisions of other guests on different floors. It was nearly impossible to sleep. If a hotel has one job above every other job, it's giving you a place to sleep. This one failed there."

"Not what it used to be a few years ago when we had a great long weekend. The guest they allow here trash the outside and is not being maintained. They shouldn’t be pet friendly. The outside stank of dog poop which you could see! And the 1st flr hallway smelled of wet dog mixed with cigarets. Also, someone left their dog by itself in the hallway one night. From the inside of the room you can hear EVERYTHING! Same thing from outside the room. This is what ruined our stay."

"I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"I don’t typically leave reviews. But this was one of the most disgusting places I’ve ever been to. We don’t even end up staying the night. We travel a lot as my kids play travel ball and always stay at residence inns so this was my first choice. It took about 5 minutes to actually get my key card to work on the door. Upon entering the smell of cigarette smoke was so overpowering I instantly had a headache. The carpets were dirty and terribly stained, as were the lampshades. The bedding was...
