Lots of independent shops nearby with the Baths and Abbey practically on the doorstep. What's not to love! Would definitely stay again if i come to Bath again. "

"The breakfast was fantastic, fabulous choice of food and juices; staff were so helpful and attentive. Spa was a welcome treat, after a day of exploring the city; again, staff in spa were so helpful. Room, as rest of hotel, was spotless. The windows were rather old and hard to open ( to air the bathroom, after a shower), but the building is relatively old. The private parking was expensive, but only a short walk from the hotel and we knew the car was safe and secure. All in all, a wonderful...

"Reception staff initially a little frosty as we arrived ahead of check in time because we were going to an event. However once we explained that we didn’t expect our room to be ready and that we just wanted to leave our bags they were much friendlier and then went out of their way to find a room that had already been cleaned so that we could go straight to the room "

"Traditional old establishment with many original features. Clean room, breakfast good, staff very polite and helpful. Having parking in bath was a plus. The location is also good proving the opportunity to walk down to the town, with the option to walk back or take the bus which stops right outside the door. Will we return - YES"

"Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and a comfortable room. On site parking was welcome as we had no intention to use our car for the duration of the visit. Good location to explore the City, and some very nice local places to eat and drink in the evening. It was nice to have a hotel bar too."

"Staff were all really nice & on the ball, very pleasant, opened doors for us, got us a drink while we waited for our room, which we got into early ( without asking) also offered us an extra half hour to check out as we went out. So we had more time in the town. All in all lovely hotel very close to town 5 minute walk. Only problem is parking, but the receptionist found us a space in the back car park & our Daughter & Son Inlaw who were with us. "
