Staff was extremely rude and not helpful. Didn’t have pillows and they told us they couldn’t send anyone till the morning if they couldn’t find a pillow. The brought us 1 pillow with no case. Whole place smelled like weed and there was dogs peeing in the hallway. Don’t stay at this dump

Sonesta White Plains Downtown
Had breakfast Sandwich and a Quiche muffin which was premade and both were tasteless. This was from the small cafe as Breakfast was over. Thought it disappointing that no food was available from 11am to 5pm from the restaurant.

The room was clean and a bit updated. Very comfy bed. It was so nice to see a wonderful friendly face at check-in This has been my goto spot to stay for a couple of years now and things have been getting changed for the better.

Tarrytown House Estate
Selected this place because it was located close to Rte 287 so I could get back on the road next day. Didn't have time to tour around so not sure about shops nearby. Staff was cordial and helpful. While promo pics were appealing, you can tell this is an old, old place that is in need of some renovations ...
