"Beautiful hotel and wonderful stay. Staff all very pleasant. Was booked in a basic room, but felt upgraded as probably the best basic room in UK I’ve ever had. HUGE space. Bathroom almost as big as a budget hotel room elsewhere. Nice to have alternatives on breakfast so gluten free cereal, alternative milk and yoghurts. And a boiler to make tea instead of from a coffee machine - so no frothy scum on my morning cuppa Defo be back in future if I’m about Only one downside for me. One lift out...

"Our visit was fantastic, the rooms were very clean and furnished nicely - the bath was awesome and the air con worked great. The location on Lord Street was great and allowed access to all the area has to offer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "My wife and I have stayed here a lot. We live about 90 mins away in Chester. Basically we use it as a retreat from the city weekend madness. Tourists, races drunks, noise? Here, peace and quiet. We stay in the garden rooms overlooking the hills towards Blackburn. Gardens are beautiful, lounge small and reserved. Staff mainly Asian are all very nice, respectful, efficient.
