"The Black Sea was visible between other high-rise buildings, so it wasn't the best view, but it was fine. It was a very nice new room though and very close to a mall. Plus it was close to the airport. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price, it was amazingly good."

"Hotel Retro was a great boutique hotel in Batumi. Well located in the Old Town and by the harbour, within easy walking distance of much of what the city has to offer. My room was clean and modern with all the amenities that I could need. There was also a great choice of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here if in Batumi."

"Everything was great, convenient location, parking, wonderful staff, everyone was friendly, the rooms were cozy, but the bathtub had a crack in the bottom and was covered with adhesive film. Taking a bath was uncomfortable, it felt like you could push your foot through the film and fall in if you didn't pay attention. Everything was just great! I hope you replace the bathtub!"

"The hotel was super clean and it was a ome bedroom condo in a newly built hi-riser. The area was where locals live. It was 15 min walk to the beach area. We felt super safe anywhere in the city. I will go back and stay at this hotel again for sure. The food at their roof top was amazing. The breakfast was included and was superb. It was hard to find the hotel so take out the “permen” part pf the street name in order to find it in the maps. Definitely book it, you will love it ! "
