"The main issue which reduces the lower recommendation rating is the £10 car park charge, which I've never experienced at any overnight hotel stay in my life. Also the internet signal in the annexe where our room was located was poor, meaning that I couldn't communicate effectively with my workplace. This will cost me time in future as I need to compensate and make-up for my schedule."

"Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. "Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. "

"On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....
