I stayed here on a busy Saturday night, and even with the hotel being packed, the service was excellent. The front desk staff—both at check-in and check-out—were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. My room was spotless and well maintained. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Convenient location and reasonable rates for 4 nights in the Sterling area. The room was a decent size and has many kitchen amenities (full size fridge, stove top, microwave). There is only a very small lobby area with a nearby snack store that has free coffee for residents. Many of the people staying were long term guest. One morning, there was a lot of trash at the end of the hall that wasn't picked up until the end of the day. Stinky!

Parking gets full near the front entrance, but there's always a spot available. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Toilet didn't flush right in my room, place was a bit worn. Had a slight issue with getting a partial refund when having to leave a day early - front desk didn't understand the policy, but management did.

Room is fairly clean. floor needs some swabbing, furniture needs some work one drawer would not close properly. Shower room floor need some cleaning, and shower head is either partially clogged up since theres not much water coming out of it and water temperature is hard to control.

Strange property. Staff was fine and the place was clean. However, prospective guests should understand that it caters to a clientele that differs from the average motel/hotel occupant. On our floor we smelled cigarette smoke, despite signs saying the building is a nonsmoking facility. Since there are cooking facilities in the rooms, cooking odors were also fairly strong in the hallway. There was a group on men having a sort of tailgate party in the back of a pickup truck in the parking lot. Latin music could be heard from time to time, including for a short time around 3 a.m. We wouldn’t have let the high ranking we saw on Expedia influence us to choose this Candlewood facility if we had understood that it has more of a residential character, rather than being a regular hotel/motel.

I think there was mold in our room #228. It smelled bad and I wasn’t able to sleep- basically couldn’t breathe all night. The hallways on the second floor were also bad. Extremely disappointed.
