"We have been here twice and it is a great National Park facility. Rooms were clean. This is a bit rustic. TV cable had only 9 channels and no phones in rooms. Views were limited as trees blocked views from rooms. Food was OK but menu was very limited and it seemed that a few more staff may have improved speed of service. We still recommend this location but you need to be prepared for this location. Big Meadows is also another location a bit further along the drive. Slightly different...

"This was my first stay at this hotel but will not be my last. Our room was clean bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared updated. I didnt try the breakfast so I can't speak on that. My only concern was my room smelled slightly like cigarette smoke even though whole location is no smoking in rooms. Otherwise this was a nice stay"

"No AC and on Expedia when I booked it didn't say that. When we got there and found out the front desk said it would cost another $150 to get ac cabin. Went to eat picnic dinner at lodge overlooking the view bc that was the only place with a view and were told the seats were only for the restaurant patrons so overall no views, no AC, pricey and not worth it."
