"Great location and friendly staff. The room is relatively small but clean and well maintained. The food in the dining hall is good; however, reservations are required in advance. Even with a reservation, there may be a wait during busy times, so it’s best to plan accordingly and be patient."
"We had to wait nearly an hour while the staff tried to locate our reservation. The experience was extremely frustrating, especially due to the lack of communication, accountability, and urgency from management.
One of the managers, Ty, was particularly disappointing to deal with. His approach lacked professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service. Throughout the ordeal, it felt as though no one was taking ownership of the issue, and we were left standing without updates for an extended period.
On a positive note, the seasonal staff members we interacted with were polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful. They were the only reason the experience wasn’t entirely negative.
Unfortunately, the overall customer service experience fell well below expectations and left us very disappointed for the price we paid."
"A great place to stay for families that like to hang out together. We had a family of 9 with 7 adults and 2 children. Creekside has a game room/sitting area where we hung out after a day of activities. I was not able to find this type of space at any of the facilities in Yellowstone. Staying at Creekside was like going camping but having a comfortable bed, shower, nice room and other amenities. It is located on national park land and once you drive into the property, you feel like you're in the woods, because you are. Creekside is 10 miles from Yellowstone's east entrance and about 35 miles to Fishing Bridge (almost an hour drive) but it's worth the drive. At Creekside, they have two very good gas grills, a microwave and an electrical outlet where you can "cook" if you so desire and eat on the deck or in the game room. My wife still likes to be the "mom" and wanted to cook for her family, and so she did. With an electric skillet and hot plate which my wife brought, she was able to prepare some meals for the kids enjoyed. The lodge dining room serves breakfast and dinner if you so desire, and they're remarkably good. It was great returning to the lodge in the evenings to get away from the noise and the crowds in Yellowstone. Diane and Chris were very friendly and helpful to us which enabled us to do everything we wanted. The five nights at Creekside were great and we look forward to going back."
"This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was disgustingly dirty when we arrived, with obvious signs that it had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom contained mold all around the shower and the floor had hair all over it. The photos online were extremely misleading and looked nothing like the room we were given. What was advertised as a nice, comfortable hotel was far from reality.
To make matters worse, the price was outrageously high for the quality of the accommodations. Paying a premium rate and then walking into a dirty, run-down room felt like a complete rip-off. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, accurately represented place to stay."
"Small but cozy cabin that sufficed for what we needed with most of the day in the park from dusk until dawn. Nice little shop and the resteraunt was better than advertised with great staff! No mini-fridges but you are given a bag of ice each morning for the day out, just make sure to keep cool overnight. Overall, great!"
