"Alles war wieder sehr gut – wir haben uns erneut sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt und sicherlich nicht der letzte. Die Betten sind bequem, die Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet und haben dennoch ihren eigenen Charme. Auch das angeschlossene Restaurant können wir wärmstens empfehlen. "The location is excellent. Very walkable. The staff was very helpful. The room was perfect in size, clean, well illuminated, and nice view. Bathroom was very clean, and a good size. modern styles and relaxing. Bar at the lobby excellent for relaxation."

"Be aware that you should only share a room in this hotel, if you are very intimate. There’s a window between the bedroom and the bathroom. They have added blinders for privacy, but you control them from the bedroom - not the bathroom. You have to share a king sized duvet and if you ask for two single duvets, they will tell you, that they’ll bring them to your room, but they won’t. Breakfast: They don’t ask you to book a specific timeslot for breakfast, but if you choose the wrong time, they will tell you off and roll their eyes. (The wrong time is between 9 and 10) The view is amazing, though. And it’s a perfect location next to the station and the park and you can walk to everything."

"Planned a trip with a wonderful to be stay here but they overbooked the rooms and when I arrived from overseas was sent to a much lesser hotel by them. Manager seems like he couldn’t wait to get us out of there and was very condescending. Can’t stand Hamburg now because they ruined our visit. We were there to sightsee and to have a hotel within walking distance to the Central Station-where they sent us was in the suburbs with no sightseeing places. Terrible place now and I won’t ever recommend."

A basic response from receptionist re hot water, with no offer to compensate, left the hotel feeling unwelcomed and poor customer service For such a prestigious hotel, we expected a better experience.
