"Clean room and friendly staff"

"Overall was cleaned very well but the property itself could use attention and is run down."

"Parking was easy, air conditioning worked well. Room was dated and not what was expected. Our previous stay at the Rodeway was in the annex and it was a much nicer room than room 417. We felt much more comfortable and safe in the annex. Room 417 felt like we were not part of the hotel. Would not stay there again if we were in that part of the hotel."

"I love the old world, charm; of course, Stratford itself is a wonderful place to visit. My husband thought that the stairs up to the room as well as the stairs in the room were a problem for him. He is 77, and I am just a babe of 72."

"It was such a unique experience. Lovely hotel very well kept. It was like going back in time. Central location, very close to the Avon theatre. The hotel personnel was so helpful in getting us settled in. I would definitely stay there again!"

"The Windsor Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were in the apartment. My children/grandchildren were in 2 other suites. Our room because a great gathering area for meals and family fun. Though the rooms might use a little up grade, everything was clean and working. Would definitely return."

"No staff on site. Room code didn't work, number to call only went to voice mail. Managed to get someone on the line to remote open our room door. There was no available restaurant or lounge on site. Screaming kids on our floor. No one at checkout to talk to. Room was very nice, but no service to speak of."

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay on the 2nd floor at the Mercer Hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was very clean and the king bed was very comfortable. We heard the occasional noise from the room above us and the muted hum of the air conditioning units on the roof but it wasn't a problem for us. The location was very convenient for walking to all the theatres and for shopping. And the Mercer restaurant food is great!"

"We were in Stratford to see a show. We arrived early and were allowed to park prior to checking in. After our show we met Bruce, the owner and he kindly showed us our room and explained some of the amenities the inn had to offer. The room, despite being on the smaller size, was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was quite comfortable as were the two chairs. The shower had decent water pressure. There were lots of add ons. Coffee and tea in the room, lots of extra towels, several...

"Great service and a beautifully maintained property. The location is also great - walking to Patterson and Avon theatres."

"Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room."
