"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "This little cottage was so cute. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a few days. It was within walking distance to a convenient store that had plenty of food options. Close enough to isle of Skye for some day trips!"

"Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!"
