"Chech-in at the bar was simple and the room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location was very good as it is a short distance to the city centre, hence quick to get around on foot. The on-site food and drink menu were fairly good and well worth a try. I can highly recommend the accommodation."

I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. "Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. "
