"Rooms are not well soundproofed. Location is excellent. Breakfast was great but finishes too early at 09.30. Staff friendly. Once the entire hotel is refurbished it could be amazing!"

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. "A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in."

"We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. "

"Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay."

"Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."
