"Perfect stay at the Antigua Casona. Great location in the heart of San Blas. The neighborhood was fantastic with amazing restaurants and shops all around. The staff were wonderful, very kind and helpful in organizing day trips out of Cuzco. The room was first-class, one of the coziest hotel stays that I can remember. Clean and comfortable. We were there in the middle of rainy season, and it was such a nice warm place to come back to. Large TV with great options. Internet and other amenities...

"Hotel very clean, central location. Staff excellent, very kind and helpful. Biggest problem for us was that the bathroom smelled like leaking sewer gasses. Great hot water and water pressure, space heater in room kept us comfortable. Very good breakfast. We loved Angela, she made us feel very welcome and cared for."

"I can recommend this sanctuary of a hotel for the beauty, service, breakfast , comfortable bed, sound of the river, trail behind the hotel and the bathtub ( a rare find in the sacred valley. Frank and Lyda were attentive and helpful. They went out of their way for us. I absolutely love room 3, which is on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the river. "Amaru Colonial was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It is a beautiful hotel with stunning views of Cusco from the patio. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and is a short walk to the city center. Breakfast each day was healthy and tasty. The staff went above and beyond with transporting and storing our luggage for a few days while we went to Machu Picchu at their sister hotel which we stayed at when we returned to Cusco. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent on property. The room was immaculate, so pretty and updated. We had a jacuzzi suite. There was really only enough hot water to fill it, then that’s it. Very typical for the country/area. They were sure to provide extra blankets in the room already, as it does get chilly in Cuzco at night. They provided towels and robes, with little tea candles lit by the tub. In the morning, they brought us breakfast to our room, which was such a nice touch. Be aware...
