It was within 10 minutes walking distance from the areas major attractions- City Market (around the corner), Carriage Tours (next door), King Street, and Rainbow Row. Plus, tons of local restaurants. I also had recent knee surgery and really appreciated the elevator! Wonderful little niche hotel and hope to stay there again when visiting our daughter in Mt. Pleasant. "

There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. "
