"This is an amazing location, the room was perfect and exactly as described, and the people working at the front desk were incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived several hours early, and expected to drop off our bags, and instead our room was ready and they let us check in early. The front desk appears to have someone there 24/7, we saw someone there when we left/arrived after aurora hunting at 1am and 2am, and they always asked how it went, but you can enter with your code at any time. "Our stay at the Residence Hotel was perfect - having a little apartment made us feel like we lived in Reykjavik! The property and room were clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It is directly off of the main road so plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We signed up for the daily breakfast, which was amazing. Some of the best bread and cheese we've ever had. We will return again!"

"The hotel was really well placed on the location front. We were a short walk away from the main centre and the bus station, yet in the heart of all the bars and restaurants. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was also fantastic and set us up nicely for our days of sight seeing.
