"Great location and walking distance to all the downtown sights. The room was very well appointed, loved the 3 step skincare as an extra touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only a few downsides like the noise coming from construction next door and the in-room refrigerator is actually more of just a cooling drawer so doesn't hold much. Overall a great stay though and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers!"

"Great space, modern touches in a very central part of the city. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The pull out couch was as expected, so may be better with younger children, but overall, very happy with our stay."

"The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

"The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close."

"Great hotel in a great location, just slightly outside the downtown core. Hotel has a cool industrial vibe that I liked alot. It is attached to Deig Bakery, which is a plus and close to lots of restaurants. Good room darkening blinds for the summer time (super important in Iceland), comfy bed and a great bathroom and shower."

"We rented a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment and it was perfect for my husband and me for 7 days. The check-in process was so easy: we got a code and the apartment number a couple of days before our reservation in their app (which was really great), the code wasn't active until check-in time (3pm), and once 3pm hit, we were able to get into the building and the apartment itself with no issues. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Absolutely couldn't beat the location- it was close...

But for the price, I was expecting the room to be more comfortable.. the mattresses were dated, the room was stuffy and we only had a small window to get fresh air with no room temperature control. Curtains were not functional with 24hr daylight we could not get them to close all the way. Bathroom was in need of renovation....
