"We rented two rooms from Black Pearl as we concluded our trip through Iceland. The apartments were great - even better than advertised. Plenty of space in the common areas and sufficient room in the bedrooms. Everything you need is provided, and the refrigerator is stocked with drinks and snacks for a fee. We didn't have anything, so I can't comment on price, but I assumed expensive because hotel mini-bars are usually expensive everywhere. The apartments were clean. We did not have breakfast, so...

"Located very close to city center, nice interior design. Our room was a two-room suite, however there were no doors between the rooms, so noise from one room was clearly heard in the other room. Also no AC, and the suite was all glass windows, it overheated badly"

"The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close."

"I had a wonderful stay at CityHub. Tried both top hub and bottom hub and felt great in both. The hubs are very quite and soundproofing I did not hear any noise what so ever, bathrooms and common areas are friendly and well equipped. Smooth check-in and check-out liked their wristband pass idea. Would totally come back again!"

"Good value, clean warm room in the heart of Reykjavík. Check in was painless and we managed to get an early check in. It is not fancy but it does meet your needs. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "

"The location of the Apotek is wonderful but the room was not great. The room was lava hot until we realized the mini-fridge was the cause and unplugged it. After that the room temperature was fine. It was a quite small room which was challenging for us to work with given there were not easy places to put clothes so we had to work with our suitcases. Finally, the bathroom was in great condition and really clean and modern but the open shower got water all over the room which was less than ideal....

"The location is perfect for exploring downtown. The only issue are the doors slam easily. So during the night you can hear other guest comming and going. Other thank that, it was a very nice stay. Thanks David B"

"The perfect hotel for the trip!! We only stayed one night then headed east but the hotel was so nice, had lots of space, very friendly and helpful staff, and was in the perfect location for walking around the city- near all the city’s highlights, food, shopping, etc. Highly recommend!!"
