"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We checked in around 11:00 after driving for over twelve hours. The room we rented the shower did not work and had cockroaches in the tub. They gave us another room which was no better than the first except the shower worked. Someone should inspect these hotels before you list them . This was the 2nd hotel out of the 4 that were unacceptable . The Hyatt House in Pleasant Hill was the best."

Unfortunately the staff is rude to people who have booked through third parties and very un-accommodating with their pet/ animal policy. The first time we booked a stay at this hotel we arrived and they informed us they could not accommodate our pet despite the website saying they were pet friendly. "Old hotel. Picked it because of high ratings across over 1,000 clients. Trying to bring rating in line with experience. Old old old. Heat light in bathroom reminded me of Holiday Inn back in 1970’s!"

She took amazing care of my needs as I was recently out of a major surgery and was not able to walk. On her days off, The Lodge seemed understaffed, and certain things did not work smoothly, starting with trying to reach the front desk.
