"All things related to the property itself were good. Only mishap was poor handling regarding checkout time frame. We agreed on a late checkout but I was called just before regular checkout time informing they couldn't honor it. Not professional!"

"Way too expensive for the room. Entrance smelled like urine. Also the one night of sleep that I had was abruptly ruined by jack hammers and pipes banging at 6:03am!! I was wondering why there was ear plugs next to the bed until I was woken up. No notice of construction on the site or even at front desk. For someone who travels very often if the hotel knows there is construction - they tell you. "

"I stayed at the AKA White House for just one night, and since it's an apartment hotel, my room was huge, as large or larger than my own condominium. It was beautifully furnished with a full kitchen, a powder room, washer/dryer, and closed off bedroom with full bath/shower. I was hardly able to enjoy all the amenities in a single night's stay, but I was impressed and the space was very clean. "What a great location for work and visiting around the area! All the residents were friendly and helpful. Although some of the areas were dark and could have benefited from more lighting, the overall apartment was nice and spacious. The check in process could not be worse unless they tried harder. "A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access.
The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities.
The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. And one shower head did not work at all, but I'm sure it will be resolved.
