"The rooms are a little dated but very nice and very clean. The staff were lovely, especially at breakfast which was very good including buffet items as well as made to order eggs and Bun Bo Hue. The location is close to lots of food and beverage spots and is a short walk to the Perfume River. We should stay here again"

"The hotel is very well appointed with amazing outdoor spaces- pool, patios for relaxing and eating. Our room was large and very comfortable for all of us. The bathroom was also very good. The restaurants are very good and offer a varied assortment of food, both local and international. Having breakfast included with the room was an added bonus; the breakfast was amazing! But almost more incredible were the staff. From the front desk staff to the Bell Captain Ho Phuoc Loi, to the restaurant staff...everyone was amazing. I had my birthday while we were staying at the hotel and I was surprised with a signed birthday card and a delicious slice of cake! So thoughtful and much appreciated. The hotel is also located in a great part of the city, along the Purfume River. There is a beautiful riverside walkway that follows the river into town. Our stay was relaxing, very comfortable and a highlight of our trip. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so amazing. We will definitely recommend this amazing hotel to our friends and family. "property and staff is good, everything else is so wrong. Breakfast: not good unless you eat local food. Dine in AVOID! Not worth I left my food without eating, it’s that bad. Access/location: it’s very very far from main city. Unless you are in group want to enjoy just in hotel and beach, just avoid. You pay toll both ways if you plan to go to city. Also you will have tough time finding rides late evening. No good restaurant nearby so we had early dinner in city every night and except one night when we tried the only good restaurant review wise nearby. Rooms: are nice and spacious, only complaint is they cut costs everywhere, you get 2 small water bottle for a day, I did get additional bottle only when I pressed. Checking/Checkout: checking was ok, but checkout was super slow in spite of asking desk to prepare bills well in advance."

"We had a fantastic time in Banyan Tree with my family. The staff were super friendly and always available, the breakfast was amazing and the facilities were exceptionally well maintained. Since staying here, we now have much higher expectations towards hotels in the future, the bar is now set very high. We're surely coming back soon!"

"I read so many reviews that exaggerated cleanliness and I thought maybe they were purchased, but no, this was the CLEANEST room I've stayed in. No exaggeration, this place is spotless. I loved staying here and felt so comfortable thanks to the state of the room. The layout was spacious and open, there is a private balcony that leads to the fire escape, and the AC worked wonderfully. No shoes allowed in the building, which helps keep it germ free. Checking in was easy and the owner was very kind, he showed me to my room then returned 5 minutes later with a welcome drink (kumquat tea) and plate of fruit with spice mix. It was unexpected and a nice touch. I loved it so much, I booked an extra night directly with the owner and paid in cash. I needed to go to the atm and he let me borrow his bike to get there. Laundry service was available and ready the next evening. Netflix availability was a bonus, so I could put on my favorite K drama and find some time to rest. I only have good things to say about this homestay and the family who runs it. It was a highlight of my trip to Vietnam."
