"Our stay was very good. Easy to park a car and walk to subway. Nice coffee shop nearby. Our request for a higher room was accommodated. We did not try the breakfast because we joined our son. Our only hotel issue was that the room fan did not go on even when we turned the fan symbol to high, and the room was a little too warm. "This was our third stay. We like the clean rooms with stocked kitchenette, great bathroom and quiet floors. The room size is not huge but there is everything you need. Breakfast is decent, very busy but restocked thoroughly. There’s always coffee and tea in the lobby. Street parking is somewhat available, train station (aka subway) is a 10 minute walk. The only downside is there is nothing to do around the hotel including food options. "

"Very friendly reception desk, I arrived three hours before check-in and my room was ready and there was an overnight parking spot for me for $40 right outside the entrance, a really good deal, very very easy. I do a lot of overnights in NYC for work and this was a cheap and easy one, a really nice surprise. N/W train a 3 minute walk away, cute coffee shop right across the street, plus a bodega. 5 stars."

When we got there I noticed that whoever had stayed in my room previously had lightly smeared what looked like excrement on the back of the bathroom door, and there was a booger on the TV. We asked staff to clean it up and they did, but that’s not something anybody should be missing pre check in. Other than that the room was relatively clean.
