"The room was very small and basic, and the walls were thin. I could hear street noise and other guests. We liked the bikes, but within 30 min had a flat tire. I feel like tire pressure should’ve been checked before giving them to us. The location is their biggest selling point. Honestly, I don’t think I’d stay here again. The cons outweighed the pros for me."

"Staff was extremely friendly. Lobby was unusable, under construction. Gym was small and functional. Rooftop was great, but really small. Unusable if someone else was there. Rooms were decently kept, lots of dirt on doors/base boards."

We only stayed one night, so there was not much of a chance to use all amenities; however there is a coffee bar that sells starbuck drinks located on the same level as the hotel lobby, and a Kneads bakery where they serve gluten free options"

"Worst hotel in San Diego. Has bed bugs, my wife was bitten multiple times. Also beware of resort fee it’s a hidden charge they have around $60 USD per day over and above the Expedia price. We checked out early because of the bed bugs."

"Room was well maintained and staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast at the restaurant was so good. My partner and I both got the beau-rito and we literally can’t stop talking about it lol. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Everything is so close by and we used the trolleys and everything was just perfectly at a good distance from the hotel. 10/10"

"Stayed here for 4 nights and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I understand Moxy is meant to be more casual and compact, but the rooms felt old and not well maintained. The bed was uncomfortable, there was barely any closet or storage space, and no complimentary water in the room. Housekeeping only cleaned the room once during my entire stay, and I had to call and request it myself. Overall, the hotel feels overdue for updates and better service standards."
