"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. "Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional. Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great. Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again."

"Lovely flat with a cracking view But...... Internet was lousy which meant the nice smart TV was unusable. Tried getting hold of the management but emails didn't get answered and telephone call centre was a contect centre who couldn't really help and promised a call back which didn't happen. "

"I felt this hotel offered great value for money and having access to an indoor pool was a great surprise. The staff were attentive and helpful. The location is great, with Abbey Park, the seafront and bus stops right on the doorstep."

The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also."

"Rooms nice amd clean. Reasonable amount of parking. Nice sea view from the breakfast room. Some wind noise on breezy days, noticeable outside my room, no 7. Large bar with some functions at weekends, but the noise wasnt too intrusive. Overall an enjoyable stay"
