"Location is what its all about in Porto and this location was perfect...just literally around the corner from the Porto Cathedral and an easy (well uphill or downhill) walk to the train station. The accommodations were fine...we were two adult couples so be aware that one room was a loft overlooking the kitchen and sitting area. It does have two baths...one is downstairs and one is up. "We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment as a couple and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Well positioned, lovely staff cared for the apartments and also the staff at the 7g Roaster cafe where breakfast was served each morning, bring plentiful and tasty. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, had everything that was required for our stay, contemporary and modern. So glad that a friend recommended this property for our stay and I’d always stay here again when returning, thank you xx"

"The apartment has an excellent location. Everything is very close and the conditions are excellent. Mariana, the hostess is amazing and the whole team as well. "Location is excellent, 2 minutes and you are at the Riverside. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable bed. Self check in & codes sent to access the property (There are 2 lifts, so make sure you take the right one) Safe in the room but i could not open it and got no response to my query which is why i gave 4 stars not 5. I would recommend & stay again as its great for a short city break. "

"This small boutique hotel is perfectly placed, immaculate in the lobby areas, well designed very clean modern rooms and delightful friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. We had a room at the back so no view (which we knew when booking) but very quiet compared to those at the front looking out onto ribeira square, so down to personal choice. Literally steps from the beautiful Duoro river and so many excellent restaurants to choose from all within a 5 minute walk. There was an issue in many rooms...

"We loved Gran Cruz House, our room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the river, in old town, very near Luis I Bridge and the river promenade that can get very busy (which we loved!). We very much enjoyed the greeting port wine by Bruno and everything he did for us to make our trip very special. The lady (sorry, forgot her name) who helped us with breakfast was super nice and very helpful. We felt fortunate to stay at Gran Cruz House and treasure our time in Porto, Portugal."
